Christopher Banks is a veteran of peacekeeping in Bosnia and was in combat in Kandahar, Afghanistan. He received the sacrifice medal and the VAC Ministers Commendation in 2022 for saving the life of a suicidal veteran. Virginia Vaillancourt is the national president of the Union of Veterans’ Affairs Employees.
