Christie Blatchford

Christie Blatchford was born in Quebec and studied journalism at Ryerson University. She began her career in 1972 at The Globe and Mail and has since worked at The Toronto Star, the Toronto Sun, and the National Post. Ms. Blatchford won a National Newspaper Award in 1999 for her column writing and a 2008 Governor General’s Literary Award for her book Fifteen Days: Stories of Bravery, Friendship, Life and Death from Inside the New Canadian Army. She lives in Toronto.
