Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall won a third straight majority government in the provincial election on Monday. The Saskatchewan Party, which Mr. Wall leads, had 47 seats at dissolution in the 58-seat Saskatchewan legislature compared with nine for the NDP. There were two vacancies. I have been fortunate enough to visit New Brunswick many times throughout my life. To the citizens of this great province, I say: we recognize how important you are to the future of Canada and we will work together to bring about real and positive change for you and your families,' he said in a statement.
