Allan McGirr

Allan McGirr was a Hill staffer between 1974 and 1979 working as a research assistant to a Liberal MP and then for two cabinet ministers serving as press secretary and speechwriter. His political career also included serving as director of communications for the Reform Party in the 1993 federal election. Since then, he’s had only armchair involvement in Canadian politics as he now works in the IT industry as a senior principal consultant for a large enterprise software firm and lives in White Rock, B.C.
