Shauna Curry

Shauna Curry is the president and CEO of the Centre for Affordable Water and Sanitation Technology (CAWST) in Calgary, Alta. Focused on addressing the world’s water crisis, CAWST has a unique business model; it is both a professional engineering firm and a registered Canadian charity. CAWST teaches people how to get safe drinking water and sanitation in their homes using simple, affordable technologies. In 2023 alone, CAWST reached more than 14 million with improved water, sanitation or hygiene.

It’s time for Canadians to stop thinking that water challenges happen elsewhere, and start taking action here at home
