Political reporters not exempt from stories that ‘reflect the complexity of our society’: journalists, experts

‘It seems to me that when it comes to more marginalized communities, it’s only in crisis where stories became quote, unquote, important,’ says columnist Erica Ifill. ‘There’s a white gaze in Canadian journalism.’
