Above all what is needed is clarity of vision both in what you stand for and what you stand against. The first requires a clear set of policies which distinguish you from the others. The second requires a consistent and coherent attack on the governments policies, actions and philosophy.

Iffy's support for the environmentally disastrous Alberta oil sands isn't a great way to attract New Democratic voters.

Nor is Fiberal support for imposition of the HST (Harpers Sales Tax) a big winner here in B.C. Mind you the Fiberal candidate in the New Westminster byelection is, in the Chinese press, opposing the HST!

Eureka! Return to the historic Fiberal tradition a la Donolo - say one thing in one region, and another thing in another region.

As usual the Libs are looking for another saviour. This time it is Donolo. Really what they are doing is living in a fantasyland where Libs where considered the natural governing party and all was right with the world. Well Donolo has not been in partisan politics since 1999. Times have changed. He had lots of free advice for the Libs as a pollster. Lets see how good he is at implenting and achieving those goals. The one thing the Libs have is a fierce opponent by the name of Stephen Harper. To date Harper has out classed the Libs and its various leaders by a signicant margin.
