Copyright reform: let the light shine in

If Michael Geist is correct that copyright will emerge as a "major political issue" in Canada ("Parallel federal political world of environment and copyright," The Hill Times, Oct. 9), it is a development that will be welcomed by almost everyone who supports Canadian culture, a strong economy, and choice for artists, creators and rights holders to protect their property.
